I was a bit apprehensive on what the sound quality would be like on this TV having read all the reviews. I can tell you that I have this in an 11 X 14 room with cathedral ceilings and I have absolutely NO issues with the sound quality! The picture quality is fabulous and the set up was so simple. I like this so much that I’m thinking of upgrading my living room TV to a larger version of this. Don’t let the reviews on the sound quality hold you back from purchasing. Great image. I’m surprised by the black that it displays. To those unsatisfied by the sound, I suggest turning OFF the QSOUND (this is a simulation of surround sound (other TVs have done this for years, as well)). I put the Bass at 13 and the Treble at 15 without QSOUND and I’m pleased with the sound quality (might tinker a touch more).
Only downside I’ve seen is that it has VGA instead of DVI, but c’est la vie. I doubt I’ll ever hook a computer up to it anyway (VGA isn’t terrible).

I am far to cheap to just run down to a Big Box store a pick up anything more than a soda. I price check everything. I ended up buying this set from a local Conn’s who had a sale I could not beat online (which I found astonishing).
There are some who complain about the green being off on this set. Honestly, I was barely able to see a difference when it was sitting next to one of the $2,600 new Sony models. And since most of us will not be watching the two sets side-by-side, there is no problem. The blacks are deep, the color is rich, there are no artifacts at all, and the uniformity is good.

I just got this T.V. around late last year and I have had nothing really bad to say about it. The feature of this TV is great it is HD ready and HDMI ready too. I’ve hooked up my Xbox 360 to the HDMI port and just wow the game look so clear and even when I watch movies they are just great. The good thing about it is that I still have 1 more port for HDMI so I can still hook up something there if I needed so. There is a port for your computer if you do ever wanted to use the TV as your own monitor. I have tried and it look really nice, but then it didn’t made any sense for me to use this feature at all just because I still had my computer monitor, but for the people who still have those bulky comps then this is a good alternative.

I ordered this TV to take advantage of the HDTV channels available over Comcast Cable in the San Francisco Bay area, without having to rent Comcast’s pricey cable box. It fills the bill perfectly.
Using the default settings, the picture is sharp and contrasty. There’s plenty of sound volume. The screen hardly reflects light at all, which is nice since we have a lot of windows. The Natural picture size setting chooses the proper picture width all the time. (I’ve never figured out why some people view everything in full width, even if it adds 50 pounds to all the people on the screen.)
