Pretty good
By Little Miss Cutey

As you can tell by the cover, this workout is led by the three Biggest Loser trainers, Bob, Jillian and Kim. They are all outgoing and motivating and in this 50 minute workout, you will definitely burn calories. You can play any segment in any order which I like to avoid boredom, or you can choose some of the challenging premixes. Bob leads a bootcamp segment where you can do the moves with or without weights to make it tougher if you want. Jillian doesn’t mess around with her high intensity drills. They are tough, but stick to it for a while and it will get easier. Then at the end, Kim does kickboxing (which really gets your heart rate up). Some of seasons 3 and 4 are here too and they look great. I like this workout because it’s tough and yet fun and I’ve only done it once so far, but I’m still feeling it and can’t wait to try it again because I know it will get easier and it’s a definite calorie and fat burner.

I Love this Video!!
By S. Lee

I’ve bought several workout videos before that I attempted to use once or twice and then never used again. That’s not the case this time around. This video is easy to follow and very energizing! Obviously the people are real and not perfect so it’s much more appealing for me! The workouts are awesome and you know for sure that you’ve done something good for yourself once you’re done! One tip is to make sure you buy some hand weights for this dvd. I have two-five pound weights and for now that does the trick! I also have the Cardio Max version of the DVD set and that one is equally as good!

Bob is the Best!!!!!
By Maria

Ok, I have to admit that this dvd doesn’t have excellent lighting or motivating music. But , if you’re a fan of Bob’s you won’t be let down!! I agree with a couple of the other reviewers which make the point that this is about losing weight and taking care of your health! You don’t buy this dvd to be entertained or to see how cute the contestants get with thier trainer. I do agree that both Heba and Vicky should’ve been excluded from this dvd because they just don’t try hard enough and you just have to ignore them just as you ignored their childish outbursts on The Biggest Loser!!! This dvd is about you and Bob and this workout makes you sweat and feel it the next day! I got this dvd as a gift and was so happy when I tried it out! I rotate this one with Cardio Max and Power Sculpt. It’s a total of 55 minutes long. I do the whole dvd but you can do the different levels on it if you’re just starting out. And for those complaining of too many lunges and moves that hurt your knees, stop whinning and reduce the weights you use. Don’t use 10 lb. weights with the lunges, use 5 lbs. instead and your knees will be fine.

Awesome Workout
By Blayne Levin

I own quite a few workout videos and this one is my absolute favorite! It was actually the first one I purchased, and it has proven to be the best! Jennifer Galardi is a very personable instructor. She is not too perky and she is definitely not fake. She is down to earth and her moves are fun and easy to follow. I really like the Dance Off the Inches series because they have an easy to follow step guide that you can watch as many times as needed to learn the moves. The moves are pretty basic though. I have absolutely NO dance experience and do not consider myself very graceful, but you really do not need to have any experience to do these moves. This dvd is a definite calorie burner!

Same Leslie–which is a great thing
By donna addison

Let it be known I am a huge Leslie Sansone fan, so my bias will surely be showing. I own a dozen of her workouts and put this one toward the top of the pile. The best part is that the DVD allows you to pick how many miles you want to do and you don’t have complicated navigation to do it. Her script remains relatively the same as most of her workouts, but it’s still enjoyable, the music is great and Leslie is as motivating as ever. You can squeeze in a 5 mile walk in an hour–not too shabby. I enjoy the boost at the end of each mile. I miss using hand weights, belt and stretchie as employed in other workouts–this one is all walking, no gimmicks. I used hand weights & my stretchie on my own during a few of the miles to add a bit of variety. I could do without the little odometer in the lower left hand corner–it’s not giving any real data, anyways…but, that’s a minor point. It’s nice to have another workout to keep the motivation going. Thank you, Leslie!

Love this!
By Nancy

This is the first Leslie Sansone DVD that I’ve tried, and I love it. Each mile is slightly different, targeting different muscle groups. The first 4 are 14-minute miles and the fifth is a 12-minute mile. Like other posters have said, this one features Leslie alone. Since getting this one I’m hooked and I’ve borrowed several of her other DVDs to try. I like some of the ones with friends, but over the long- haul, could see how they’d get on my nerves more. I like the pace of this one – not too slow but not too fast for a beginner. Also, I like the setting for this DVD better than most. Several of her DVDs are against a black curtain and they feel too dark. This one has a great open studio with windows and the outdoors in the background. The moves are easy to follow, the music is great, the studio is really cheerful and the cueing is excellent – easy to follow.

Workout: One-On-One Training with Jackie

Excellent workout
By Meg

I picked this up based on the reviews that I read on Amazon and they were right – it’s a great workout. I haven’t seen the Work Out series on Bravo, but I’d heard that it was good. Jackie is the star of that program and I only wish now that I could see this. This is a body targeted workout that uses interval training to get it done. There are three programs and they each focus on different body parts; upper body, lower body and abs. Each are fairly tough going but very effective. I’ve done this twice already and I’m as sore the second time as the first. I enjoy it though and have fun doing it which is the main thing because it’s making me want to do it again. All you need are some dumbells and some space and almost anyone can do it. The combination of weights and cardio are what make it most effective and I feel like I can already feel some results. Overall, this is a fun and enjoyable workout that makes you work hard and burn a lot of calories. I love it.

I bought the biggest loser workout: Power Sculpt. I was really excited to get this DVD, especially since you can pick your level and make it “last” for 6 weeks while adding new levels and new moves throughout the 6 weeks. Now let me preface this with saying, I am extremely fit. I work out 4-5x a week doing cardio for 30-45 minutes at a time. (And when I do cardio the sweat is literally dripping off me in waves.) I also have been doing sculpting DVDs 2x a week for the past 6 months. This workout kicked my butt! Level one is definitely easy enough for intermediate, yet will still challenge those who are in good shape. I just added Level 2 today, and I actually had to stop the DVD and take a 60 second breather because I thought I would either throw up or pass out! You’ve gotta work me REALLY hard to make that happen!

My only “criticism” is that I don’t think this DVD is appropriate for beginners. However, after reading some reviews it is clear beginners are doing it and thriving on it. My advice to a beginner would be to concentrate on form before you concentrate on reps or how heavy your weights are. In the DVD a lot of the participants have really poor form. (Even though the trainers give them a thumbs up.) Watch the trainer and copy them. Once your form is perfect add weights and/or increase your reps. I’m sure any trainer will tell you they’d rather you do one really good move than 10 of the same move with poor form.

If you want to loose weight and you stick with this DVD I can’t imagine you wouldn’t change your life and body. And on the same token, if you are already in shape this DVD will add variety and excitement to your workout as well as giving you a really challenging workout.

Before using the Biggest Loser Cardio Max dvd I would have told you I am in good shape. I workout on a regular basis and I thought that this would be a nice routine to add to my workout. Let me tell you that this dvd let me know just how not in shape I am in. I quickly realized just what I have been missing from my regular routine. This dvd will challenge even the most seasoned workout gurus. You really get a full range workout and work up a good sweat. The one feature I like most is that the instruction is clear and concise. They are not all over the place making it difficult to follow. Very easy to follow. And yes you will be sore the next day, it is a guarantee. I am very pleased with this workout. Very good purchase.
