I love it so far….quiet and fast…10x better then the 825, which was loud and s l o w … photo quality not much different then the 825 (that was one good thing about 825), but 825 took 6 mins for best quality, the c88+ about 2 mins on best quality…the print is not high gloss, almost a matte finish…i am guessing that is from the new quick dry, waterproof ink characteristics…docs are fast and as sharp as a professional printer. Review below complained about crooked (not perpendicular with paper edge)printing…I had same problem…can easily be fixed…go to printing maintenance and use alignment correction tool…takes about 5-10 mins…I bought a ton of non-epson ink on eBay…I refuse to pay the high prices..have not used it yet. I hope it does not clog print heads, but we will see…So far I love this printer, and if it lasts a few years I got my money’s worth.

This is a very nice printer and you can set it to all differnt kinds of settings for if you want speed over quality or vise versa, the different sizes of paper and of course in color or black and white. It even has a special setting for standard picture sizes and they print out great. This printer is compatible with macs.

As with all the reviews showing this printer as a great investment, I really can’t add much. I purchased this based on reviews both from Amazon and Google Search. 24 hours later its here on my doorstep. I’m making reproductions of original decals so the durabrite inks are important. This scanner has been working a few hours each week since purchase. Perfect no problems. To me…really the biggest ‘thing’ about this purchase is the Amazing ability of AMAZON to make a shopper, like me, feel so absolutly great about my purchases with them. I am a PRIME member and this membership has paid for itself many times over. I could care less if something is on eBay…AMAZON is so so light years ahead in safety and ease and peace of mind ordering. THANKS MUCH AMAZON…ya got me on my first purchase looooong time ago!

This is the second Epson printer I have owned and I am totally sold on Epson printers. My experience has been that they are very dependable. I purchased this one to replace a previous one that just eventually wore out. I am very pleased with this one. It does O.K. with ink usage, of course this depends on how much you print. I am planning on getting another one. I would recommend it.
