I thought this was a little too expensive for my liking, but it does work well, so I do recommend trying it.

A little goes a LONG way. My biggest advice with this is to invest in a quality concealer brush and use that to apply this. You will also need to “set” this concealer with a loose powder. But everyone should already be doing that….right??!

Benefit Erase Paste is marketed as a “brightening” concealer. It comes in a a disk shaped pot with a screw top lid.

The product is a thick paste with a smooth consistency. It’s ingredients are mostly petroleum base and wax along with the color and some titanium dioxide.

I found this concealer to be excellent for under my lower eyelids, on the upper lids to cover veins and pigmentation, and to cover redness under my nose and on one temple. The product is very opaque, this is probably due to the titanium dioxide. Now, I did not see any brightening effect, apart from the fact that I used this in the shade “Fair” which is just slightly lighter than my complexion. This is good. Plenty of “brightening” concealers cause an unattractive white cast under the eyes. Since I didn’t want bits of glittery mica in my under eye concealer, Erase Paste performed excactly the way I wanted which is to say it concealed imperfections and managed to look reasonable natural at the same time.

The product lasted all day after being set with silica powder. I will repurchase this product. I took a star off for the price, I think it is a bit high.
