I ordered 2 of these because my local home improvement stores have been sold out since a recent scare in my area. They had plenty of more expensive combo models (CO/smoke, CO/heat, etc.) but all I wanted was this one. It is perfectly simple. Easy to install, easy to maintain and very economical. I assume it works because it hasn’t gone off and I haven’t woke up dead yet! The test button indicates it’s working properly and the battery is easy to change.
This was an added accessory to my smoke alarm at home. I have three of those–1 on each floor, so I needed to add a carbon monoxide alarm for added security. I hear it’s one of the deadly killers in America and with a young son at home, I didn’t wanna be without one. It’s easy to install and its battery operated.
Haven’t had to use it yet. It was delivered on time and packaged well.
I didn’t have any problems with the transaction at all. I got it to use in my daughters car because she thought she may have a leak, due to the fact that whenever she drove, she became very tired. I guess if the alarm goes off, she will surely wake up, with as loud as they are!!
