Before we bought this we would have to mount the bike at a very steap angle to get it to fit on the back of a car mounted bike rack…and would be imposible with her new bike. there are cheeper and there are more expensive ones(like the one the bike shop wanted to sell us.) Although a simpler design this bar does the same thig very well…giving a womans bike the nesasary mounting points to easily put it on the rack.

Just recently purchased a Thule hitch mount bike rack and our Full Suspension bikes would not fit with what I felt was secure.
Purchased two of the Boomer Bars and they worked great so far. Lowered the level of our bikes to give a clear view out the back window and held both bikes straight and level.
We have two Cannondale Super-V Full Suspension bikes with oversized tubes and this made hanging these bikes from both the hitch mount bike rack as well as our inside bike rack a breeze!
