This is a great printer for the price! Not only can I print from anywhere in the house thanks to its networking ability, but the prints are fantastic! I didn’t really buy it for the photo printing capability, just wanted to replace my duddy Lexmark that I hated… but of course they put a couple of sample photo sheets in the box that I just had to try. I can’t believe how great the prints look! I haven’t priced out how much it’ll cost per print so will still probably use professional printing services but now I know I have this awesome printer that prints comparable pictures, I’ll definitely use it for pictures on occasion too! Now if only I could more easily find matte finish 4×6 photo paper…

OK, I’ll admit that I cheat and read everyone else’s reviews, complaints, recommendations, and lessons learned BEFORE I buy, so I have a lot less problems with it than some have mentioned. As recommended I print on Fast Economy and it does look great. The photos are beautiful, and the duplexer works like magic. I was looking for a document printer that also does photos – this was it. The wireless bit isn’t important to me so I’m hard wired into the PC. No glitches on installation and the card slots, scanner, and copier all work great. I’m happy as can be with this baby.

I bought the printer to replace an ink jet that was about 10 years old, and was looking for something that would allow me to print my own invitations for my upcoming wedding. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the printing. I’ve done photos and text, on card stock and metallic paper with no smudging at all, and printing on odd sizes of paper (such as 3.5″ x 6.75″) was no trouble. The copy and scan functions are easy to use and quick. Even the fast draft option is high quality. My fiance has a more expensive ink jet of a different brand in his office, and prefers this one.

The C6280 is an excellent 3 in 1 printer. Using photo paper, does and excellent job. The only problem I had was the software for this printer that you load kept changing the C6280 to the default printer from my other laser jet. HP has been very responsive to help get the problem straightened out. So far, seems to be working.
